Crafting with my kids: Olympic Matryoshka

IMG_6823

These little nesting dolls were released as part of the Hudson Bay’s Olympic Collection.   I also bought the shirt!

I love wooden dolls, especially matryoshka nesting dolls.  Here is a peak of part of my collection.

The Bay’s Sochi dolls inspired us to create our own little lady out of cardboard.

  3. How adorable is your cardboard doll! Your nesting doll collection is fantastic. Chris brought back several when he went to Russia years ago. He often says he wishes he would have brought back more. I'm going to have lots of time to watch the Olympics while home on medical leave. That's definitely a plus!

  5. I'm a huge fan of Russian nesting dolls, they are so unique. I see you have a large collection! What variety! And what a clever cardboard one your daughters created. We are really looking forward to watching the opening ceremonies on Friday.
